The third annual Farming Your Future has been scheduled for 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 4, at the Herkimer County Fairgrounds.

Farming Your Future is an opportunity for students in grades 7-9 to explore careers in agriculture. Students will have hands-on access to exhibits in the agriculture field and interact with local professionals in the industry.

The Herkimer-Fulton-Hamilton-Otsego BOCES School to Careers program – in collaboration with Oneida-Herkimer-Madison BOCES and Madison-Oneida BOCES – presents Farming Your Future each year.

Farming Your Future is for students from school programs in the three-BOCES region. It is not open to the public. If you are interested in having students attend the event, contact your school for information.

As in previous years, we expect hundreds of students from school districts in the three-BOCES region to attend and dozens of exhibitors to be presenting.

Check back soon for more information.
