You're invited to the New York State Board of Regents and New York State Education Department regional meeting about graduation measures from 4-6:30 p.m. on Monday, March 9, at the Howard D. Mettelman Learning Center at the Oneida-Herkimer-Madison BOCES at 4747 Middle Settlement Road in New Hartford.
The Board of Regents will create a Blue Ribbon Commission to review the state’s high-school graduation measures and reaffirm what it means to obtain a diploma in New York state.
The Board of Regents and State Education Department are holding regional meetings to help inform the work of the Blue Ribbon Commission.
Meeting attendees will have the opportunity to break into smaller groups to discuss and provide feedback to the department.
