Herkimer-Fulton-Hamilton-Otsego BOCES has announced the registration dates for the prekindergarten program located at several school districts in Herkimer County for the 2020-2021 school year.
The prekindergarten program provides opportunities for positive intellectual, social, emotional and physical development for children ages 3 and 4. The ages the program is available for depend on the school district in which you reside.
Successful transition to kindergarten is the targeted outcome for all students.
The program is free to families. Eligibility factors including income, and family circumstances are considered for some programs.
You must be a resident of the district in which you are seeking to enroll.

The following is the registration schedule:
- Dolgeville: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, March 19, at the Dolgeville Elementary School.
- Frankfort: 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, March 12, at the Frankfort-Schuyler Elementary School.
- Herkimer: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 31, at the Herkimer Elementary School.
- Owen D. Young: 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, March 6, at the Owen D. Young school building.
West Canada Valley: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, March 5, at the West Canada Elementary School.
