Herkimer BOCES VP-TECH students achieve Financial Literacy Certification

Valley Pathways in Technology Early College High School students in business teacher Andrew Carpenter’s career and financial management class who passed the Working In Support of Education Financial Literacy Certification Test pose with their certificates they recently received at Herkimer-Fulton-Hamilton-Otsego BOCES.
VP-TECH students who achieved a passing score on the nationally standardized test have “demonstrated proficiency in personal finance” and mastered subjects including “money, budgeting, the cost of money, banking, credit, insurance, investing, retirement planning and financial planning and management,” according to the certificates students earned.
