Herkimer-Fulton-Hamilton-Otsego BOCES is hosting Adult Education classes for English Language Learners starting on Jan. 2, 2024.
The classes are free and open to anyone in Herkimer County.
Classes are designed to support any English Language Learners such as refugees, immigrants or other non-Native English speaking residents interested in learning English.
There are multiple time and location options for the classes:
- 3:30-4:30 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays at Herkimer County Working Solutions, located at 320 N. Prospect St. in Herkimer.
- 3:30—5:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Herkimer BOCES Adult Literacy Office, located in the Herkimer BOCES Remington Educational Complex at 77 E. North St. in Ilion. The entrance is off to the side/back of the building.
The classes are offered on a rolling basis. People can join any time following a placement assessment.
