Starting on Monday, March 23, until further notice, anyone other than essential staff scheduled to be working in any Herkimer-Fulton-Hamilton-Otsego BOCES facilities will require an appointment to enter a building.
To make an appointment, call 315-867-2000 or get in direct contact with an essential staff member that you wish to make the appointment with.
All Herkimer BOCES buildings will be completely closed on Wednesdays to allow for a 24-hour break in building use each week. A number of essential staff will be working in buildings on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays on a rotating and reduced schedule. Essential staff will be working from home on the days they are not in office. These changes are being made in response to Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s executive orders dealing with in-office workforce and working from home.
In addition to needing appointments, anyone who enters a Herkimer BOCES building other than essential staff working on a given day will be required to sign in and out, noting the time of arrival and exit and where in the building the person is going.
The situation remains fluid, and these arrangements could change again at any time. We will continue to update you if there are changes.
