Where do you live: Yorkville  

Tell us about your family: My mom was an LPN and showed me the true value of nursing, and my father works on trucks.  

Tell us about your past work experience: I’ve helped take care of elders since I was 16.  

Why do you want to be a nurse? To help people recover and assist them in a recovery.  

Why did you pick this program? I picked this program because I wanted to become a nurse. Since COVID was very new, I wanted to help during the pandemic.  

What do you find most challenging? I find balancing both school work and outside life [to be challenging], but preparing to become a nurse is more important.  

What do you find most rewarding? Seeing the smile when the patient is in the recovery phase and when they start to understand what is happening.  

What do you want to do after nursing school? I want to go on for my RN.
