The countdown continues to apply for our next full-time and part-time Adult Practical Nursing classes, and we’re counting down by highlighting current students!

Class: Part-time evening (starting January 2022, graduating June 2023)  

Where do you live: Mohawk  

Tell us about your past work experience: I used to work in a neurosurgery office as an MA and scribe and am now working as a medical assistant for a primary care provider.  

Why do you want to be a nurse? To help people when they need it most.  

Why did you pick this program? I picked this program because it fits my work schedule perfectly, and I like that the program goes straight through for just 18 months.  

What do you find most challenging? Juggling work/school work and finding enough time to sleep!  

What do you find most rewarding? I feel accomplished, like I’m working towards bettering my future.  

What do you want to do after nursing school? After nursing school, I would like to work in an urgent care/ER setting, while going for my RN.
