Adult LPN Program Student Spotlight:

Name: Miranda Hubbell

Class: Part-time evening

Where do you live: Little Falls

Tell us about your family: I am 21. I have two brothers. I am due June 2 for my first child.

Tell us about your past work experience: I work at Valley Health nursing home in remembrance of my grandmother.

Why do you want to be a nurse? I have always said as a little girl I wanted to be a nurse because of my grandmother.

Why did you pick this program? I picked this program because I had to work full time to pay bills and still succeed in class.

What do you find most challenging? Time management, being able to say no to others because I have to study.

What do you find most rewarding? Graduating with my LPN will be rewarding.

What do you want to do after nursing school? I’d like to find a job in a doctor’s office. I know being young and a new nurse it will be hard, but I’d like no weekends, no holidays.
