Where do you live: Utica
Tell us about your family: I live with my boyfriend. We have two boys together. They are 11 and 4 years old.
Tell us about your past work experience: I have been a CNA for 14 years.
Why do you want to be a nurse? Being a CNA for a while, I wanted to do more and different things in the medical field. I also enjoy helping people and making them feel better.
Why did you pick this program? I have heard a lot of great things about this program and teachers from past students that I am friends with.
What do you find most challenging? Virtual lab so far, but it is a great learning experience.
What do you find most rewarding? Learning different aspects of nursing. Also when the teachers acknowledge improvement.
What do you want to do after nursing school? Most likely be a pediatric nurse.
