Tell us about your family: Single mother of a 20-year-old son who is currently serving in the Navy.
Tell us about your past work experience: Past 25 years have been working as an LVT at VCA New Hartford Animal Hospital. I was a CNA 26 years ago, before going into the animal industry.
Why do you want to be a nurse? To help people, advance my career, many opportunities, love learning.
Why did you pick this program? Work/life balance, hours, instructors, courses.
What do you find most challenging? Time management.
What do you find most rewarding? The numerous opportunities available to me.
What do you want to do after nursing school? Possibly continue to get my RN.
