PREKINDERGARTEN SIGNUPS: Herkimer BOCES has openings left for the Prekindergarten Program located at the Dolgeville school district in Herkimer County for the 2023-2024 school year. The Pre-K program runs Monday-Friday and provides opportunities for positive intellectual, social, emotional and physical development for 3-year-old children. Successful transition to kindergarten is the targeted outcome for all students. The program is free to families. Anyone with questions is asked to contact the Herkimer BOCES Pre-K office at 867-2098 or lhaggerty@herkimer-boces.org.

Applications are now being accepted for the Rescue Heroes Summer Day Camp taking place Monday, July 24, through Friday, July 28! Apply here (after reading the info below): https://forms.gle/Tda2J3PLQbT2Fh6eA The grant-funded camp is hosted at the Herkimer BOCES WEB Complex at 352 Gros Blvd. in Herkimer and takes place from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. each day. The goal of the program is to provide female students with exposure to fire, ambulance and other emergency response careers. The camp is open to female students ages 14-17 in any of the Herkimer BOCES component school districts: Central Valley, Dolgeville, Frankfort-Schuyler, Herkimer, Little Falls, Mount Markham, Owen D. Young, Poland, Richfield Springs and West Canada Valley.
