Herkimer BOCES Welding and Metal Fabrication students are creating and selling metal washer flowers as a fundraiser for the Welding class’s senior sweatshirts! The metal flowers are available to order throughout the month of February. Regular metal flowers are $15, and painted flowers (red or black) are $18. READiTEC used their Regents week last week to catch up on their different unit projects. We had a couple of new students, Sarah and Madyson, working on building a bird house. Colin and Andrew were picking out the pattern for their Visual Communications Media Arts project. Daniel and Olivia worked on finishing a Visual Communications project by helping out on a friend’s t-shirt.

Health Science Careers students joined the residents who took part in a Christmas party in the front lobby. Festivities provided by the Activities Department at Foltsbrook. The students joined the residents who were listening and dancing to Christmas music provided by a local DJ!
